May 2016 National Foster Care Month

President Obama has proclaimed the month of May 2016 as National Foster Care Month.

As many as 300 children are removed from their biological families and placed into foster care each month in the DFW Metroplex and surrounding counties so that they can be kept safe from abuse, neglect and exploitation. CK Family Services recruits, trains, and supports individuals, couples, and families from our local community to become mission driven foster families to serve our communities children and families.

We invite you to join CK Family Services in recognizing May 2016 as National Foster Care Month by sharing this information with your social networks or by making a donation to protect children in your community from being abused, neglected, and exploited.
