CK Family Services is excited to welcome Michelle Rivera as our new Central Texas Area Director for Foster Care. She is charged with getting the word out to the Central Texas community that CK Family Services (CKFS) is present, active, and ready to help serve children and families. As of September 12th, 2023, combined with the efforts of the Community Engagement and Family Development teams, our first 3 foster families in the area were verified!

“It’s been really fruitful,” Michelle said. “But we still have a long way to go.”

Despite sweltering temperatures reaching a scorching 107 degrees, the CK Family Rangers Game turned out to be a roaring success! Drawing together hundreds of families, staff, and supporters, the event was truly one to remember.

Allow us to introduce Diane Partin, our Vice President of Behavioral Health at CK Family Services. Diane’s journey in the field of behavioral health has spanned several decades, leaving a profound impact on countless lives along the way. Originally from Maryville, Tennessee, she found her way to Texas over 25 years ago, and she has been making a significant difference ever since.

Looking forward to the echoes of laughter and cheers filling the air on August 2nd at the Rangers Game. The Family Day brings together families, friends, and the community for a day of fun, camaraderie, and shared experiences. None of this would be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. Angela Ensley is a cornerstone of our foster care department. For nearly a decade, she has graced CK Family Services with her calming presence and expertise to help children and families heal. Beyond being an excellent leader, she’s also an incredible wife, daughter and friend. Angela leads with her core values and character to make an impact on the people we serve.

20 years ago Yolanda Deaton started her new year as one of the first case managers at CK Family Services (CKFS). She was one of about five new hires, did not have any previous foster care or case management experience, and was relatively new to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Even though the pressure was on, she preserved, prospered, and now leads teams of people to do the same.
