Behind the scenes, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail was in order, from t-shirts, to food vouchers, banners, and more. Funding is always a key element, and the gathering would not have been possible without the generous support of sponsors who believed in the CKFS cause (Parkwood Collision, Praesidium, Superior HealthPlan, Marsh & McLennan, and One Big Happy Home). But of course, the reason why we exist is to help heal the well-being of children and families in our community, and we could not do that without our foster, adoptive, and kinship families. Each of these groups of families showed up and showed out to be part of this very special tradition.
