CK Family Services is excited to welcome Emily Cole as the new Vice President of Behavioral Health Operations. With decades worth of experience, Emily is most excited to use her diverse background to innovate, grow, and fill in the gaps in the children and families we serve
During her time as a leader and clinician, Emily has worked with the foster care population by assisting former foster youth, teaching preventative measures, serving adolescents in care, and working with C.A.S.A. and D.F.P.S. case workers. In her work, Emily learned, “it’s critical to meet people where they’re at if you want to make a lasting impression and impact true change.”
Outside of her work, Emily is a Texas native born-and-raised in Abilene. When she’s not busy chauffeuring her two children, Kylar and Natalie, to soccer, martial arts, or volleyball, you can find her curled up with a book or designing clothes with her daughter.
She is currently reading Brené Brown’s Atlas of the Heart (no spoilers!), but her all-time favorite author is C.S. Lewis.
To all of the CK Family Services staff, Emily says, “I’m excited to be here, I understand I have big shoes to fill, and I can’t wait to learn and grow together!”
If you see Emily please give her a warm welcome!
