Many of the young people we serve are navigating unfamiliar homes, missing traditions they once cherished, or adjusting to a new sense of “normal” after experiencing trauma or instability. Your Giving Tuesday support can bring comfort, dignity, and delight to these children exactly when they need it most.
We’re in Our Final 3 Days—And Every Gift Matters
We are now entering the last stretch of our Holiday Gift Drive, and this year, the need is great. With only a few days left before gifts must be delivered to our CKFS offices, we’re leaning on the strength of our community to help us cross the finish line. Each child in one of our foster homes has submitted a specific gift wish. We are delighted to make sure that every child and teen feels seen and heard and is able to receive a tangible expression of love and support. They may not have come from a home where thoughtful gifts were the norm.
When you participate in Giving Tuesday today, you’re doing more than donating a present. You’re showing a child that they matter, that their wishes are worth honoring, and that people in their community care deeply about their wellbeing.

Our Amazon Wish List was created based on the specific wishes of each child. Each item represents something a child specifically asked for or something that will make their daily life easier or more enjoyable. When you select a gift, you can be sure that you’re choosing an item that matches a child’s unique interests and needs.
- You can have it shipped directly to us via Amazon (if it will arrive in time).
- Or you can mark the item as “purchased,” buy it from a local store, and drop it off at the CKFS offices.

🎁 Give a Physical Gift Card
Gift cards are incredibly helpful, especially for teens and for youth who join us close to Christmas. Gift cards from Amazon, Walmart, Target, Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, and Chipotle are popular choices and are easy for teens and families to redeem no matter where they live across Central Texas. Please purchase a physical gift card and deliver it to the CKFS offices by Friday, if you choose to give! Even a single card can meet a practical need or bring an unexpected surprise during a hard week.
