CK Family Services had the privilege of stepping outside our usual work to support another nonprofit’s mission. Our team came together to help bag meals for children in Ukraine, an experience that left us both humbled and deeply grateful. It’s not every day that we get to make such a hands-on difference for children around the world, and it served as a rewarding reminder of why we do what we do for children close to home.

With our CEO, Daniel Lund, working right alongside us, the day was filled with energy and purpose. Together, we measured, scooped, and sealed meals, ensuring each package would provide nourishment to children in desperate need. The room buzzed with laughter, teamwork, and a bit of dancing—even Daniel himself joined in on the fun! Knowing that our efforts would directly benefit kids in Ukraine made every moment even more meaningful.

As a nonprofit, CK Family Services is often on the receiving end of generosity. This time, being able to give back and dedicate our time to help children across the globe was an entirely different and incredibly rewarding experience. It brought home the power of generosity in a new way, strengthening our commitment to making a difference for children everywhere.

We’re especially thankful to have a leader like Daniel who doesn’t just talk about giving back but actively participates. His presence and willingness to roll up his sleeves alongside the team made the day even more special. Moments like these remind us how much leadership by example can inspire and unite us.

CK Family Services is honored to have played a small part in helping another nonprofit make a global impact. We left the experience feeling closer as a team and inspired to continue finding ways to serve. Opportunities like this fuel our passion and drive to do good, no matter where or how it’s needed.

Here’s to more days like this—filled with purpose, teamwork, and making a difference for children in need!
