Every year, CK Family Services partners with generous donors and sponsors to provide Christmas gifts for children in foster care. Our Christmas Wish program brings together businesses, churches, community groups and individuals around something simple and personal: choosing a gift that a child will love.
The preparations begin well before Christmas. Our families share gift requests for the children in their care, helping us learn about their interests, favorite things and wishes. Those details make the giving personal. Each request represents a child with a personality, preferences and something they are excited about.
Chosen Especially for Them
There is joy in receiving a gift that reflects who you are. Someone remembered your favorite character, noticed what you enjoy or chose something you have been hoping for.
For children in foster care, the holidays can hold both excitement and sadness. They may enjoy celebrations while missing people and traditions that are important to them. A thoughtful gift can offer a moment of happiness while leaving room for all those feelings.
Through the Christmas Wish program, our community helps create those moments with gifts chosen especially for each child.
Generosity That Returns Each Year
This program happens year after year because people choose to make it part of their Christmas season. Sponsors make room in their holiday plans, coworkers gather around a shared purpose, and groups turn their desire to help into something a child can unwrap and enjoy.
We are grateful for everyone who has supported this tradition. Each contribution reflects the care of a community willing to think about children they may never meet and help make their Christmas special.

You can also help by sharing this invitation. A conversation with a coworker, a message to your church group or an introduction to a local business could bring another generous partner into this annual tradition.
