Hundreds of vehicles, proud car owners, and community members filled two neighboring Frisco venues for the 6th Annual Frisco Charity Car Show. With its biggest turnout yet, the event raised more money than ever to support the children and families served by CK Family Services.
A Car Show Takes Over the Courts
Inside the Frisco Flyers facility, upbeat music added to the energy as the volleyball courts were transformed into a jam-packed car show. Hundreds of vehicles were on display, including beautifully restored classics, specialty vehicles, custom trucks and even a Whataburger truck.
Throughout the facility, proud owners stood near their vehicles, visiting with attendees and showing off gleaming paint jobs, custom features and the details that made each entry unique. Vendors offered items for sale inside, while a food truck outside gave guests another way to enjoy the day.
Classic Cars and CKFS’s Mission
The experience continued next door inside the Careington car museum, where dozens of gorgeous classic vehicles were lined up for guests to admire.
A CK Family Services mural covered the back wall, sharing the work CK does and demonstrating Careington’s support for our mission. It served as a meaningful reminder that the event was about more than impressive vehicles, it was also an opportunity to introduce the community to the needs of local children and families.
CKFS team members were eager to meet attendees, answer questions and share more about the agency’s work. Foster families and staff members also came out to enjoy the event and be part of a day filled with fun, connection and community support.
“The 6th Annual Frisco Charity Car Show was our biggest turnout yet,” said CK Family Services CEO Daniel Lund. “We are especially grateful to our board member Matt Rinker for including CKFS as a beneficiary and supporting our mission.”
CK Family Services extends its sincere appreciation to Rinker, the event organizers, Careington, participating vehicle owners, vendors and everyone who attended. Their generosity helped make the sixth annual event a memorable success and will help CKFS continue serving children and families throughout North Texas.
