At CK Family Services, we believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and permanent home. So far this November, we have celebrated 13 finalized adoptions! 13 beautiful stories of new beginnings and forever families.
For children in foster care, the primary goal is reunification, helping them safely return home to their biological families whenever possible. But sometimes, the court decides that reunification is not an option. In those moments, adoption becomes the best path forward and is a chance for a child to find stability, love, and belonging in a forever home.
Many of our foster families feel called to make their commitment permanent, welcoming children into their hearts and homes for a lifetime. Our team has the incredible privilege of walking beside these families through the process, helping navigate the legal steps, the emotional milestones, and everything in between.
And when the day finally arrives that the judge’s gavel comes down, the paperwork is signed, and a child officially becomes part of their forever family, it’s pure joy. Smiles beam, tears fall, and the courthouse fills with love. It’s a moment of transformation marking a new beginning and a beautiful story unfolding.
Support That Continues Beyond Adoption
The journey doesn’t end when the adoption is complete. Through our Post-Adoption Program, CK Family Services continues to stand beside families long after the courthouse celebration.
